Sixth round Ethiopian Peacekeepers under sector-3 AMISOM awarded medals
Addis Ababa, December 28, 2020 (FBC) – The sixth round of the Ethiopian Peacekeeping troops under Sector – 3 AMISOM have been awarded medals for better achievements.
Commander of the Sector 3, Brig.-Gen Alemu Ayene and commander of the 7th round peacekeeping mission, Brig.-Gen Zewdu Setarge have conferred the medals on the troops.
Speaking at the ceremony, Brig.-Gen Alemu Ayene said the government and our people have carried out effective law enforcement operations against the renegade Junta and its collaborators in a short period of time. “The constitutional order is well preserved.” he added.
He said the government and our people have proved that they will not compromise on Ethiopia, adding that the operation has been concluded with great gallantry.
He urged the members to carry out their mission in a responsible manner and preserve the dignity of Africa and their country.
