Slovenia open to sharing its health-care reforms experience to Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, April 10, 2023 (FBC) – Minister of Health, Lia Tadesse met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon.

According to Ministry of Foreign affairs (MFA), the two sides discussed issues of mutual concern.

Ethiopian government places the highest priority on public health care and restoring health centers that have been damaged as a result of conflicts throughout the country, particularly in the north, Lia has stated.

Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Mister and Foreign Minister, Tanja Fajon, said on her part that her country had implemented effective health-care reforms and that Ethiopia can learn from its experience.

She also stated that her country had completed plans to open an embassy in Addis Ababa, which could aid in the exchange of experiences in the health sector.
