Somali region president receives USAID representatives

Addis Ababa, August 9, 2023 (FBC) – Somali Regional State President Mustafe M. Omer held a discussion with a delegation led by Scott Hocklander, Mission Director at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Ethiopia.

In their discussion, they advised on USAID commitment to increasing agricultural production, delivering quality public health and education services, and extending safe water supplies and basic sanitation across the region..

Furthermore, their discussion includes enhancing cooperation on various development projects.

They also exchanged views of ways to ensure that the Agency’s assistance is properly delivered to the people who need food support in the region.
