Some 60 CSOs travel to Tigray to assess progress of humanitarian aid delivery

Addis Ababa, January 23, 2023 (FBC) – Some 60 civil society organizations (CSOs) have travelled to Mekelle, Tigray to assess the progress of humanitarian aid delivery and reconstruction and rebuilding efforts in the region.

The delegation of the CSOs are expected to discuss with peer organizations operating in the Tigray region on ways of fast tracking humanitarian assistance and reconstruction of institutions and facilities affected by the war, according to ECSOC.

The trip organized by the Ethiopian Civil Societies Organizations Councils (ECSOC) will also explore ways to speed up humanitarian aid delivery and rehabilitation efforts in war affected areas in northern parts of the country.
