Some 85 humanitarian trucks arrive in Mekelle

Addis Ababa, May 16, 2022 (FBC) – World Food Program announced that 85 additional humanitarian trucks arrived in Mekelle, Tigray yesterday.

WFP stated that the humanitarian trucks are being delivered to vulnerable communities in Afar and Tigray, adding that other convoy of 130 trucks is on the way.

Furthermore, the WFP noted that a convoy of trucks loaded with food aid is on its way to Northern Afar to reach 36,000 in the coming days.
