Supreme Court, EACC sign MoU to strengthen court-led mediation centres

Addis Ababa, March 3, 2020 (FBC) – The Federal Supreme Court of Ethiopia and the Ethiopian Arbitration and Conciliation Center have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen court-led mediation centres.

The MoU was signed by Solomon Areda, Vice President of Federal Supreme Court of Ethiopia and Haregewein Ashenafi, Board Chair of the Ethiopian Arbitration and Conciliation Center (EACC).

The MoU is believed to strengthen the court-led mediation centres that were established at federal supreme courts and to provide quality services to the community.

According to the agreement, EACC will provide logistics support and supply necessary inputs to the mediation centres to create favourable working environment.
