Task Force confirms fundraiser event for rehabilitation of war victims

Addis Ababa, November 8, 2022 (FBC) – Association for Peace and Unity in Ethiopia, Washington Area Task Force, announced a fundraiser event will be held on Saturday to support the rehabilitation of war victims.

According to the report by ENA, the event will be held at the Ethiopian Embassy in Washington DC as a response to the national call for rehabilitation and rebuilding of the areas affected by the conflict.

The Washington Area Task Force called on Ethiopians and friends living in the USA to fulfill their humanitarian responsibilities by supporting those who need assistance.

Members of the Ethiopian community who cannot attend the event in person can contribute through the special fundraising account number 1000439142786 opened by the Ethiopian Ministry of Finance through the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia and the online payment option of ‘Eyezon Ethiopia’.

Government representatives, artists, Ethiopians and Ethio-Americans and other invited guests are expected to attend the fundraiser event.

It has been stated that the fundraising event is organized by the Association Peace and Unity in Ethiopia, Washington DC Fask Force, in collaboration with various institutions and patriotic Ethiopians.
