Terrorist TPLF Group vandalizes close to 7,000 schools in horrific attacks

Addis Ababa, August 30, 2021 (FBC) – The Ministry of Education on Monday stated that the terrorist TPLF Group forces have vandalized close to 7,000 schools in northern parts of the country in continuous horrific attacks targeting civilians in Amhara and Afar regions.

The war the terrorist organization waged against civilians has deprived more than 1.4 Million children and over 48,000 teachers of education.

The criminal enterprise has intentionally destroyed 445 schools that were accommodating more than 88,000 students in Afar Regional State, the Education Minister Dr. Getahun Mekuria said in an annual educational conference under way in Addis Ababa.

He added that the outlaw group has also annihilated a total 140 schools and colleges in the Amhara Regional State during the last month alone.
