Terrorist TPLF inflicted widespread devastation in areas it invaded: GCS

Addis Ababa, November 29, 2021 (FBC) – Government Communications Service stated that the terrorist TPLF Group inflicted widespread devastation in areas it invaded.

In a press briefing, Government Communications Service State Minister, Selamawit Kassa revealed that the terrorist group deliberately destroyed religious institutions and burnt down Holy Scriptures to cause moral injury on followers.

The State Minister called on the community to repulse the damage being caused by the terrorist group and decimate the enemy which is trembling and retreating back. Selamawit also called on people in the conflict areas to provide the government with all the necessary information about activities of the enemy.

She also urged people who deliberately or unintentionally are distributing information about military issues in defiance of the State of Emergency decree to abide by the law.

Regarding the border situation with Sudan, the State Minister said that the two countries have a longstanding and friendship, reiterating Ethiopia’s readiness to quell any unwarranted activity from the other side that downplays such a relationship.

State Minister rejected the information being circulated as Ethiopia committed an attack on Sudanese soldiers. The disinformation intended to tarnish the relationship between the two countries is baseless, she added.
