The Walias resume full training ahead of AFCON qualifiers match against Egypt

Addis Ababa, August 31, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia national football team members have resumed training on the field for the final group game of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt, Ethiopian Football Federation confirmed.

Recall that the national team interim head coach Daniel Gebremariam on August 28 announced his 23-man squad for the game against group D leaders Egypt.

It is stated that out of the 23 players, 21 players started training on the field at the Ethiopian Sports Academy earlier today.

Among the players who received the first call-up, the defender Mignot Debebe did not join up the squad due to illness.

EFF confirmed that the Ethiopian coffee defender Ramkel James was called up for the first time to replace the Saint George FC defender.
