TPLF looted, demolished public health centers in Wag-Hemra

Addis Ababa, September 9, 2022 (FBC) The terrorist TPLF looted and completely destroyed public health centers, which provide services to more than 20, 000 citizens, in Sokata, Wag-Hemra area, Amhara region.

Since it re-launched the attack on the neighboring Amhara and Afar regions, the terrorist TPLF looted and vandalized public infrastructures and facilities.

The head of Sekota Woreda health office, Asmerom Gedamu, said that the terrorist group has looted and destroyed 10 health centers in the district since August 24, 2022. He noted that TPLF showed its enmity with the people by killing, robbing and destroying everything.

Hamusit Health Center, which clusters five health centers under it, was providing medical services to more than 20,000 people, and it was at the forefront in terms of expertise and services in Wag-Hemra Zone.

The head of Hamusit Health Center, Zewdu Mulaw, said that TPLF stole the laboratory, medical equipment, medicines and other materials from the facility.
