Transport Ministry says over 375mln ETB generated out of Addis-Adama, Dire Dawa-Dewole toll roads in one year

Addis Ababa, September 8, 2021 (FBC) – Transport Ministry stated that Ethiopia has earned over 375 Million Birr from Addis-Adama, Dire Dawa-Dewole toll roads during the last fiscal year.

According to the press release the Ministry sent to FBC, the revenue was collected from 9.3 Million vehicles that used the two toll roads.

On the other hand, the Ministry said more than 1,188 km of roads have been constructed in various parts of the country achieving 85pct of the plan set for the concluded fiscal year.

In addition, the Ministry indicated over 12,000 km of roads were maintained and repaired and 88pct of the plant in this regard has been achieved, the Ministry said.
