Türkiye’s ABOLLO expresses keen interest to engage in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, May 30, 2023 (FBC) – Türkiye’s Abollo Agricultural Machinery expressed keen interest to invest in Ethiopia, according to the Ethiopian Embassy in Ankara.

Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to Türkiye, Adem Mohammed, held a discussion with Tevfik GUMUS, the CEO of ABOLLO Agricultural Machinery, and other senior officials of the company.

In the discussion, Ambassador Adem briefed ABOLLO officials about the enticing investment opportunities in the agricultural sector and the incentives provided by the Ethiopian government to foreign investors.

The leadership of ABOLLO, for their part, stated that their company has experiences for more than 50 years in manufacturing agricultural equipment which are exported to 40 different countries.

Stating that they are interested in manufacturing modern and befitting agricultural equipment and tractors in Ethiopia by 2024, the ABOLLO officials indicated that they would like to visit Ethiopia next month for a preliminary investment inquiry.

It is noted that Abollo is a leading agricultural tools manufacturer that offers high-quality tools for farmers worldwide.
