Ethiopian delegation meets with leadership of MÜSİAD, Ankara Chamber of Commerce

Addis Ababa, May 10, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian delegation from Ethiopian Investment Commission, led by Hiwot Hailu, met with the Chairman of the board of directors of Ankara Chamber of Commerce, and the vice chairman and board members of the Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD)

During the discussion, the delegation addressed Ethiopia’s investment opportunities and the government incentives for foreign investors, and exchanged views with both Ankara Chamber of commerce and MÜSİAD on various issues of trade and investment.

Meanwhile, the delegation has also visited Sarar Group, one of the biggest Turkish textile manufacturing companies in the Eskişehir Industrial Zone.

It is said that the Sarar Group – which is also operating in various sectors worldwide – and the Ethiopian Embassy in Ankara have reached an agreement to work together for future engagements in Ethiopia.

It is mentioned that the Company is interested in learning more about Ethiopia’s investment opportunities. The Ethiopian delegates also visited Aslan, another Turkish company which processes sesame into several end products including tahini and oil mainly from sesame sourced from Ethiopia.
