UNFPA reaffirms commitment to support ongoing reforms in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, April 12, 2021 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde met with the new UNFPA representative in Ethiopia.

The Country Representative reaffirmed UNFPA’s commitment to support the reforms happening in the country.

She stated that UNFPA will work particularly hard to ensure the inclusion of adolescent girls and women.

President Sahle-Work highlighted the significant partnership between Ethiopia and the UN Agency in achieving national development goals.
