US donates over 1.2m COVID-19 vaccine to Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, August 5, 2021 (FBC) – The United States donated more than 1.2 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine to Ethiopia.

US Ambassador to Ethiopia, Geeta Pasi tweeted “We are honored to participate in the life-saving venture of delivering COVID-19 vaccines to Ethiopia from the American people.”

As Ethiopia’s closest partner in health, we are dedicated to vaccinating more people, saving lives, and ending the pandemic” she said.
