Wenchi-Dendi Eco Tourism Village to be inaugurated today

Addis Ababa, January 13, 2024 (FBC) – The Wenchi-Dendi Eco Tourism Village which is the third tourism destination developed through Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s ‘Dine For Ethiopia’ initiative will be inaugurated today, the Office of the Prime Minister Confirmed.

Recall that on Friday afternoon, PM Abiy Ahmed welcomed the guests in the newly developed Wenchi-Dendi Eco Tourism Village.

It is known that the Wenchi-Dendi ecotourism project, constructed as part of the grand ‘Dine For Ethiopia’ tourism destination projects, was initiated by the premier himself.

In the process of developing the Wenchi-Dendi Eco Tourism Village, 8,000 to 12,000 jobs have been created during the construction phase.

The massive infrastructure has been introduced including 43kms access roads, 35km of road lights and power supply, and a 72mts long crossing bridge.
