Youth shall plant everlasting African fraternity: DPM & FM Demeke

Addis Ababa, October 11, 2022 (FBC) – FDRE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Demeke Mekonnen, stated that Ethiopia’s Green Legacy diplomacy should establish everlasting fraternity in the African countries where its youth travel.

Ethiopia is sending youth volunteers who are boarding to different African countries to plant seedlings to extend its green legacy initiative, spearheaded by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

According to the schedule, the youth are expected to carry out seedlings planting in seven African countries where they are traveling.

DPM & FM Demeke Mekonnen, attended the ceremony and conveyed a message to the young volunteers.

In his message, he urged the youth to plant irreversible fraternity in the African countries they travel to.
