Youths play instrumental role to ensure Ethiopia’s comprehensive prosperity: PP Deputy President

Addis Ababa, January 1, 2023 (FBC) – The youths’ role is instrumental to ensure Ethiopia’s all-round prosperity, said Prosperity Party Vice President, Adem Farah.

Prosperity Party Youth League is holding its first regular session in Adama city under the theme “Striving youth for the prosperity of Ethiopia and Africa”.

Adem Farah, Vice President of the Prosperity Party, and Alemu Simie, Political and Civic Affairs Head of the Party, attended the meeting.

PP Youth League President, Asfaw Tekle, other invited guests, and youth from all over the country are reportedly participating in the conference.

In his speech at the meeting, Adem Farah said that the involvement of youth in the Prosperity Party is 51 percent thanks to the party’s inclusive efforts.

The inclusion of youth in the party will enable them to defend the rights and interests of the youth, he emphasized.

The Official also affirmed that the ruling party will work diligently to strengthen its youth league as the role of youth is pivotal in ensuring the comprehensive prosperity of Ethiopia.

Asfaw Tekle, on his part, recalled that young people have fought hard to realize the national reform, underscoring that they are also playing a priceless role through green legacy innitiative, YeLemat Trufat program, and various development campaigns.

In addition to national endeavors, he indicated that the party’s youth league is aiming to work to strengthen the continental involvement.

It is expected that the ongoing conference will advise on various issues during its schedule.
