A delegation of riparian countries visits GERD project

Addis Ababa, September 7, 2022 (FBC) – A delegation comprising representatives of several riparian countries has visited the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam project.

The delegation consists of scholars in hydropower and water resource management fields, former government officials of respective countries and media professionals.

The visit came at a time when the Nile basin countries’ cooperation conference held under the theme “Equitable and Reasonable Use of Resources” concluded. Officials from the Water and Energy Ministry of Ethiopia have accompanied the delegation to the visit.
