Addis Ababa sends off 30,000 teachers, students to harvest crops of enlisted men

Addis Ababa, December 6, 2021 (FBC) – The Addis Ababa City Administration has organized official fare well event to send off 30,000 teachers and students to various parts of the country to harvest crops of families people who joined the national military service.

Ministry of Education announced temporary closure of schools to help the educational community participate in the crop harvesting campaign. The deployment has been carried out under the theme of “Campaign on the Education Development Front”.

Education professionals and leadership of the sector are also said to participate in the crop harvest campaign, according to the Addis Ababa Education Bureau.
