Agency devising strategy to boost Diaspora participation to high level

Addis Ababa, January 13, 2021 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Diaspora Agency disclosed that it is preparing a National Diaspora Participation Strategy to raise the diaspora role to an epic level.

During a two-day discussion forum with four higher education institutions to support Diasporas participation through academic researches, agency’s Director- General Selamawit Dawit stated that the agency started activities to prepare National Diaspora Participation Strategy.

According to EPA, Selamawit underscored that the strategy will have a critical role in exploiting Ethiopian Diasporas’ capacity in investment and identifying the major challenges in attracting the Diasporas’ engagement.
