Eleven new ambassadors to Ethiopia present their credentials to President Sahle-Work Zewde

Addis Ababa, September 29, 2022 (FBC) –  Sahle-Work Zewde, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, has received today the credentials of eleven newly appointed ambassadors to Ethiopia.

The President received the credentials of Samad Ali Lakizadeh of Iran, Stefaan Thigs of Belgium, Stian Christensen of Norway, Amadou Hassane Mai Dawa of Niger, Dr. Simone Knapp of Austria, Jandyr Ferreira Dos Santos of Brazil, Nayef Hapes of Kuwait, Dr. Fahad Obeydailah Alhumaydani Almotairi of Saudi Arabia, Lusia Maria of Portugal, A. Selverajah of Singapore, Julio Simon Castanos Zouain of Dominican Republic.

Welcoming the ambassadors to Ethiopia, President Sahle-Work held a separate discussion with each one of them about deepening bilateral ties and enhancing multilateral cooperation between Ethiopia and their respective countries.

The President extended best wishes to the ambassadors for their stay in Ethiopia, further pledging her support for them in their endeavors.
