AU Political Affairs, Peace and Security Commissioner congratulates Ethiopia for successful election

Addis Ababa, June 30, 2021 (FBC) – African Union (AU) Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, Ambassador Bankole Adeoye congratulated the government and people of Ethiopia for the success of the just concluded general elections.

The commissioner discussed with Ethiopian Permanent representative to the AU Yilma Tesfaye on latest developments in the country and the region at large.

On the occasion, the commissioner appreciated the peaceful and successful elections process in the country. He further pointed to the opportunities for efforts to address issues in the Northern region of Ethiopia.
