Chuncheon’s Mayor vow to support youth development activities in Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, November 1, 2023 (FBC) – The visiting Mayor of Chuncheon City, Yook Dong-han pledged Republic of Korea’s commitment to support Ethiopia’s youth development activities in schools.
While, Addis Ababa and Chuncheon are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of their sister city relationship, the Mayor along with Ambassador of Republic of Korea to Ethiopia, Kang Seokhee visited the activities in the Dejazmach Wondirad Primary School in Addis Ababa.
During the visiting session, Ambassador Kang Seokhee, said that Ethiopia and the Republic of South Korea have been enjoying 70 years of close bilateral relationship cemented with blood.
The Ambassador stated that his people and government will always remember the sacrifices paid by the Ethiopian soldiers during the Korean War, reaffirming commitment of Republic of Korea to elevate its bilateral ties with Ethiopoia.
Yook Dong-han, for his part, pledged Republic of Korea’s readiness to cement bilateral partnership with Ethiopia not only the education sector but also in multifaceted areas of cooperation.
