PM calls for enhanced cooperation among ministries

Addis Ababa, February 22, 2021 (FBC) – The Council of Ministers held its six month performance evaluation meeting today in Koysha, SNNP regional state.

Chaired by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, the meeting explored each ministry’s key milestones over the past six months, according to office of the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed highlighted the need for enhanced cooperation among ministries considering some overlapping responsibilities.

He further underscored the need for government to increasingly play the role of facilitation, make processes more responsive and efficient and develop an innovation culture

The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance  to enhance data flows within and across government structures, from government to communities and from government to the private sector as well as to continuously determine how best to to effectively answer the needs of the public through service delivery.
