Equatorial Guinea investors to engage in projects on natural resources in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, March 24, 2023 (FBC) – The Insustry Minister, Melaku Alebel conferred with the Planning and Economic Diversification Minister of Equatorial Guinea, Gabriel Obiang on ways of enhancing cooperation in natural resources development.

The two underscored that the two countries’ natural resource-based projects will be identified so as to invite Equatorial Guinea investors to the sector.

Gabriel Obiang said investors from her country will be encouraged to join the Ethiopian businesses once the projects natural resources of the two countries are identified.

Ministry of Industry stated that favorable conditions and options in the manufacturing sector were also discussed.

Experience sharing and economic ties between the two countries has an important role in fostering cooperation between the two countries in the manufacturing industry sector.
