Ethiopia, Menschen für Menschen ink agreement to build schools in four regions

Addis Ababa, October 7, 2022 (FBC) – Ministry of Education of Ethiopia and Menschen für Menschen have inked an agreement to build 16 schools in four regional states.

Education Minister Professor Berhanu Nega and Chair of the Board of Menschen für Menschen Mr. Sebastian Brandis have signed the agreement representing their organizations.

According to the agreement, schools with a capacity of enrolling more than 8,000 students will be built with a budget of 300 million birr in Oromia, Amhara, Somali and Afar regions.

Construction of school which starts this year is expected to be completed within two years and three months.
