Ethiopia registers 3 new COVID19 cases

Addis Ababa, April 4, 2020 (FBC) –The Ministry of Health has registered three new cases of coronavirus (COVID19) during the past 24 hours.

The number of confirmed cases in the country has now jumped to 38.

According to the Ministry, all the three confirmed cases are Ethiopian national with a travel history abroad.

The Ministry also reported four recoveries from the virus, including the 85-year-old Ethiopian woman, who was previously reported to have been in a critical condition.

More than 1.1 million cases of coronavirus have been registered globally, according to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University.

Nearly 59,000 people have died and more than 226,000 have recovered, according to the university’s figures.
