Ethiopia sharing its Green Legacy Initiative experinces at COP28: Minister

Addis Ababa, November 30, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia will be sharing its best experiences in the Green Legacy Initiative to countries at the 2023 UN Climate Change Conference (COP28), the Plan and Development Minister, Fitsum Assefa (PhD) said.

Ethiopia has set up an exhibition Pavilion at COP28 where it is sharing the success stories in the implementation of the ongoing Green Legacy Initiative to the world community, Fitsum stated.

The pavilion at 1,500 sq m holds testimonies of Ethiopia’s remarkable achivements in the green development arena that are being diplayed for participants from all corners of the word, she remarked.

The soil and water conservation works in tandem with prioritiezed agricultural practices has enabled Ethiopia to realize remarkable productivity in its wheat farming intitaitive, according to the minister.
