Ethiopia to celebrate 13th Nat’l Flag Day on Monday

Addis Ababa, October 9, 2020 (FBC) –The 13th Ethiopian National Flag Day will be celebrated on Monday, October 12, 2020.

This year’s celebration will take place under the theme “Our Flag for Our Peace, Unity and Prosperity.”

In a statement sent to FBC today, the House of People’s Representative (HPR) said preparations are underway to celebrate the day at federal, regional states and in the two city administrations.

Here in Addis Ababa, it will be celebrated in the premises of the HPR in the presence of President Sahle-Work Zewde and with a flag raising ceremony at 10:30 am.

Flag hoisting ceremony will also take place at the same time in regional states, city administrations, embassies and Ethiopian military camps.
