Ethiopia, U.S. discuss close cooperation in cultural exchange activities

Addis Ababa, May 31, 2022 (FBC) – Cultural Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, Doug Johnston, met with State Minister for Culture and Sport Nefisa Almahadi to discuss ongoing cultural exchange projects being jointly implemented by Ethiopia and the U.S.

The discussion explored ways to reinforce further activities including bringing American documentary filmmakers to Ethiopia and sending Ethiopian musical groups to tour the United States.

The two sides also looked forward to continuing close cooperation for the mutual benefit and enrichment of both countries.
