Ethiopian Diaspora in Dubai, North Emirates of UAE condemn TPLF Junta atrocity on ENDF

Addis Ababa, November 16, 2020 (FBC) – Members of the Ethiopian Diaspora Community in Dubai and Northern Emirates of UAE have condemned the atrocity committed by the TPLF Junta on the Northen Command of the Ethiopian National Defence Force.

The Diaspora Community have also endorsed law enforcement measures the government is taking against the TPLF Junta special force and pledged full support to the National Defence Forces in their mission to ensure law and order in Ethiopia.

Member of the Ethiopian Diaspora in Dubai and the Northern Emirates have held discussion which involved participation of 60 Diaspora associations, religious leaders, scholars living in the United Arab Emirates.

On the discussion, members of the Diaspora reflected shared resolution that the treason committed by the TPLF Junta against the National Defence Force is an atrocious act that marred Ethiopia’s longstanding values and exposed nation’s sovereignty to interventions from external forces.

They vowed to extend any necessary support to the National Derence Force and appreciated gallantry of the military in fighting with special force of the TPLF Junta bold sense of nationalism expression conviction that that the military accomplishes law enforcement operation and maintains constitutional order soon.

A fundraising committee in charge of mobilization of logistics supports to the national army has been established by the Diaspora Community.

Two of members of the Diaspora, Genet Sahile and Amhasellassie Yifredu have pledged 100,000 Birr and 500 UAE Dirham to the National Defence Force respectively.

The Diaspora community concluded the discussion after issuing has a statement holding five points that denounce the atrocity of the TPLF Junta and affirm support government’s law enforcement measures.
