Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council President calls for almsgiving during Eid al-Adha

Addis Ababa, June 27, 2023 (FBC) – President of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council, Sheikh Haji Ibrahim Tufa called on the Muslim community to give alms to the needy and support one another during the Eid al-Adha to be celebrated worldwide tomorrow.

Sheikh Haji Ibrahim Tufa extended his best wishes to all Muslims around the world on the Eid al-Adha 1444 H.

In his message, Sheikh Haji Ibrahim Tufa stated that record number of Ethiopian pilgrims have participated in this year’s Hajj, calling all Muslims to maintain peace and unity and support those who are in need during the festival.

Defence Ministry stated that it will conduct 21 Gun Salute at the dawn of tomorrow in the honor of the Eid al-Adha.
