Ethiopian recognized with prestigious award at Europe-Africa Forum

Addis Ababa, May 29, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines was recognized with prestigious award at the Europe-Africa Forum for promoting air transport & fostering socio-economic and cultural ties between Europe and Africa, the Airline confirmed.

It is stated that thousands attended the event, hosted by La Tribune and La Tribune Africa in Marseille, France.

Recall that, on 27 May, it was announced that Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services, the largest air cargo network operator in Africa, has been named “Sustainable Cargo Airline of the Year—Africa 2023′ by the Freight Week Sustainability Awards. Global cargo players, including freight forwarders, ground handlers, general cargo agents, and cargo sales agents, cast their votes online, where the highest votes for ‘Sustainable Cargo Airline of the Year-Africa Tittle went to Ethiopian.

The fast-growing African space industry, Ethiopian Airline, is expected to hit $10 billion by 2024 with a current value of more than $7 billion.
