Ethiopia’s Coronavirus death toll reach 600, confirmed cases pass 34,000 mark

Addis Ababa, August 20, 2020 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Coronavirus death toll has reached 600 after the country recorded 28 fatalities on Wednesday.

According to the Ministry of Health, out of 21,326 laboratory tests, 1,336 new cases were reported yesterday bringing the number of confirmed cases in the country to 34,058.

Furthermore, 370 patients have recovered so that number of stories reached 13,308 across the nation.

Currently the country holds 20,148 active cases of which 370 are in severe condition.

Ethiopia has so far conducted 672,637 laboratory tests.
