Ethiopia’s to chair East & Horn of Africa RMFM for another year
Addis Ababa, March 17, 2023 (FBC) – Governments in the East and Horn of Africa have extended Ethiopia’s Chairmanship of the Regional Ministerial Forum on Migration (RMFM) for another year.
The Ministry of Labour & Skills of Ethiopia confirmed that the member states of RMFM have unanimously extended Ethiopia’s chairmanship of the regional forum for another year during the closing event of the 4th RMFM forum, held in Addis Ababa from March 13 to 17, 2023.
Regional Director for IOM East and Horn of Africa, Mohammed Abdiker, praised the leadership of Ethiopia on championing regional migration cooperation.
It is known that Muferihat Kamil, Ethiopia’s Minister of Labour & Skills, is the chairperson of the 4th RMFM of East and Horn of Africa.
