Fortescue Future Industries to construct zero-carbon green energy facility in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, June 2, 2022 (FBC) – The CEO of Fortescue Future Industries (FFI), an Australian green energy company, Julie Shuttleworth visited EIC to discuss its Ethiopian Investment plan.

FFI is planning to construct its facility in Ethiopia to produces zero-carbon green hydrogen energy.

Julie appreciates the convenience of Ethiopia for such a high-tech facility, confirmed to produce 10GW of power investing millions of USD and creating thousands of jobs in Ethiopia.

The EIC officials assured their support and commitment to the success of the project and affirmed their continuous follow-up.
