Health Minister urges the youth to make voluntary blood donation a culture

Addis Ababa, June 14, 2021 (FBC) – The Health Minister Dr. Lia Tadesse, in her message over the World Blood Donation Day 2021, urged the community especially youth to make voluntary blood donation a culture.

Dr. Lia expressed gratitude to voluntary blood donors in the country for their commitment and kindheartedness in the times of need. “Your gift of blood has been invaluable in saving many lives” she remarked.

The Health Minister further called up on the community to support the promotion of health care activities at all levels.
