Institute contributes over 200,000 professionals to the hospitality and tourism sector

Addis Ababa, March 19, 2022 (FBC) – The Catering and Tourism Training Institute has graduated 124 trainees for 53rd round in the presence of high government officials.

State Minister of Labor and Skills Ministry, Nigusu Tilahun stated that the hospitality and tourism sector is one of the sectors that have been given due attention in the 10 year job creation perspective plan.

The hospitality and tourism sector is the most prioritized area expected to create job opportunities in the years to come, reiterating government’s commitment to promote capacity of training institutes in the sector.

Director of Catering and Tourism Training Institute, Aster Dawit, for her part, stated that Institute has so far contributed over 200,000 professionals to the global hospitality and tourism sector, pledging institute’s commitment to bring skilled and competent experts that would help foster the industry.
