Israel keen on expanding cooperation with Ethiopia in various sectors

Addis Ababa, March 16, 2023 (FBC) – The government of Israel is keen on expanding its cooperation with the government of Ethiopia in various sectors, said Ambassador Gil Haskel, Chief of State Protocol at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Tesfaye Yetayeh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to the State of Israel, delivered copies of his letters of credentials to Ambassador Gil Haskel today.

During their conversation, Ambassador Tesfaye noted that Ethiopia and Israel have a long history of friendship with diversified political, economic, and development cooperation.

He stated his readiness to further strengthen this relationship.

Ambassador Gil Haskel, for his part, congratulated Ambassador Tesfaye on his appointment as Ethiopia’s ambassador to Israel.

He highlighted the Israeli government’s desire to expand cooperation in various sectors, as per MFA Ethiopia.
