Meeting discuses reduction of stigma, discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS

Addis Ababa, August 2, 2021 (FBC) – The Inter-Religious Council of Ethiopia held a high-level advocacy meeting on reduction of stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS and their families.

The meeting was held under the theme “Our Creator does not stigmatize and discriminate; let’s not stigmatize and discriminate,” Minister of Health, Lia Tadesse tweeted.

The Minister expressed her sincere gratitude to the council of Ethiopia for their tremendous collaborative efforts with the Ministry of Health and HAPCCO as well as with partners and stakeholders, in HIV/AIDS prevention and control.
