National Youth Peace Forum on current situation underway in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, November 26, 2020 (FBC) – National Youth Peace Forum underway in Addis Ababa forced at current situation in the country.

Youths drawn from all parts of the country are participating in the forum underway in Addis Ababa under the theme “My Youthhoold for My Ethiopia”.

In her opening remark at the forum, State Minister of Women Children and Youths Ministry, Hiwot Hailu stressed role of the youth in normalizing the current situation in the country.

She urged the participants to play their share in making the law enforcement operation being carried out by the government effective.

Secretary General of the Ethiopian Youth Federation, Ermias Mathewos, to his part, said that atrocities committed by some anti-peace elements caused displacements and loss of lives as Ethiopia is exerting efforts to build democracy and peace.

The Secretary General underscored that the National Youth Federation has condemned the treacherous act committed by the TPLF Junta against the Northern Command of the National Defence pledging support for the government in bringing perpetrators to justice.
