OFFICIAL: Wubetu Abate re-joins Fasil Kenema as head coach

Addis Ababa, July 24, 2023 (FBC) – Former Ethiopia football men’s team head coach Wubetu Abate has been officially unveiled as Fasil Kenema Sports Club coach.

Wubetu Abate returned to his former club, Fasil Kenema (also known as the Emperors) as the head coach on a 3-year contract, the club confirmed.

In the past few months, reports have claimed that the club is preparing to appoint a new head coach after the end of the 2022/23 season and Wubetu Abate was heavily linked with a return to his former club for a second stint.

It is to be remembered that Fasil Kenema finished 6th place with 43 points in the 2022/23 Ethiopia Premier League season.
