Officials discuss with financial institutions, partners on ways of supporting mining sector

Addis Ababa, May 19, 2022 (FBC) – The Mines and Petroleum Minister Takele Uma and the Finance Minister Ahmed Shide consulted with representatives of various local and international financial institutions on how to support the mining sector in Ethiopia.

According to the Mines and Petroleum Minister, the meeting discussed ways how to collaborate with the financial organizations in developing the mining sector.

Participants drawn from several financial institutions and government officials who took part in the meeting have visited the ‘Ethiopian Mineral Gallery’ established by the Mines and Petroleum Ministry.

“Our collaborations will help us achieve and sustain our current initiatives and performance,” the Mines and Petroleum Minister Takele Uma tweeted.
