Pfizer’s executives to visit Ethiopia on Accord for a Healthier World

Addis Ababa, June 15, 2023 (FBC) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to the U.S. Seleshi Bekele held a discussion with Nick Lagunowich, Pfizer’s Global President of Emerging Markets.

It is stated that a team of Pfizer’s executives will travel to Ethiopia to discuss the implementation of its ‘Accord for a Healthier World’ that aims providing medicines and vaccines to 45 lower-income countries, including Ethiopia, on a not-for-profit basis.

During the meeting Ambassador Seleshi said the collaboration will help many people in these countries to get access to high-quality and effective medications.
