PM Abiy confers with RSF leader Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo,

Addis Ababa, December 28, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) received and held a discussion with Sudan’s Paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo earlier today.

In a message published on his social media page, the Prime Minister disclosed his discussion with General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, saying; “Earlier today I received Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo and his delegation for a discussion on securing peace and stability in the Sudan.”

Recall that General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo arrived in Addis Ababa this morning. Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, the RSF leader, alongside his delegation, was received by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mr. Demeke Mekonnen.

Regarding his visit to Ethiopia, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo said in a post on his social media page; “We discussed the need to bring a swift end to this war, the historical crisis in Sudan, and how to best alleviate the hardships of the Sudanese people.”

He added, “I am honored to visit Ethiopia, which has always supported and advocated for the security and stability of our people.”
