PM Abiy congratulates newly wedded couples at the Friendship Park phase II opening

Addis Ababa, October 30, 2022 (FBC) – The FDRE Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed met with couples who celebrated their wedding on the opening of the phase two of Friendship Park.

Those who replied to the call for couples who wished to get married on the day marking the project’s completion had their ceremonies at the venue, according to the Office of the Prime Minister.

The green development which hosts national and social events is a space where individuals of all ages can unwind. The park will be open to the public for the next week.

As he met the couples who celebrated their wedding at the opening day of the Friendship Park phase II, the Premier congratulated them.

“Marriage is a means of establishing a family, which is one of a nation’s core institutions. Congratulations to all who married at the wedding garden on the day the Friendship Park phase two was launched”, PM Abiy stated.

“With the joy of your wedding, you have blessed this wonderful site that welcomes Ethiopians as well as visitors for international, national, and social activities”, he added.
