PM calls on public to apply COVID19 containment measures

Addis Ababa, March 30, 2020 (FBC) –Prime Minister has called on the public to have more discipline in fighting the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.

In his video address today, the Prime Minister said that the total number of confirmed cases has reached to 23, with two recoveries and no fatalities.

However, urban dwellers are not satisfactorily applying the advices and containment measures to halt the spread of the virus, he said.

The Prime Minister appealed to the public to fulfil their responsibilities by putting in place all recommended prevention measures.

The Prime Minister also extended gratitude to those who have made contribution to the national resource mobilization committee and health professionals in the front line.
