Police arrest 10 Individuals For Issuing Travel Documents Illegally  

Addis Ababa, October 27, 2021 (FBC) – Federal Police Criminal Investigation Bureau has arrested ten employees of Immigration Nationality and Vital Events Agency over illegal issuance of travel documents to applicants.

The individuals were arrested based on evidence gathered through a close follow conducted jointly by the bureau and Immigraion Nationality and Vital Events Registration Agency.

According to Police, the suspects interchanged information from one document to the other without the acquaintance of applicants while preparing the illegal travel papers, and issued passports to fugitives.
